Serious About Music and the brand I AM SAM were founded in 2023 by Sam Lynch, the Founder and Director of 8th Tone Management. Sam Lynch, along with the 8th Tone Management team, has combined his passions for music, fashion, and the arts to create the Serious About Music website.

 

Serious About Music is the latest project from 8th Tone Records. In 2023, the debut album, "1976," was released. This album is a blend of lo-fi hip hop beats, funky bass and drums, and a rich UK soul sound. 8th Tone is excited to announce the 3rd release in the Serious About Music series: ‘Reminisce’. Produced by award-winning producer Sam Lynch, this 12-minute album features 6 groovy hip hop instrumentals designed to get your head nodding and feed your soul.
